Day 01
PARIS BANGKOK
Flight to Bangkok. Dinner and overnight in flight.
Day 02
BANGKOK • (60 KM / 1H)
Arrival at the airport. Meet your guide and transfer. Free until dinner, overnight at the hotel.
Day 03
BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA - LOPBURI - PHITSANULOKE • (400 KM / 4:30)
Departure to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam and remarkable archeological site listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Visit Wat Phra Mongkhon Bophit with the largest bronze Buddha in the country, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, royal temple built in the 15th century and Wat Lokaya Sutharam with its reclining Buddha. Continue to Lopburi for lunch. Visit the beautiful sacred temple in Lopburi Monkeys. Arrival in Phitsanulok end of the day. Dinner and overnight.
Day 04
PHITSANULOKE - SUKHOTHAI - LAMPANG - CHIANG RAI • (450 KM / 5:30)
Depart for Sukhothai, ancient kingdom of Siam, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit his main remains of the 13th century, Wat Mahathat and stupa-shaped lotus bud, Wat Sra Sri and museum. Tasting specialty: Tom Kha Kai. Depart for Chiang Rai. En route, visit a local market. Dinner and tasting fruit market. Overnight at hotel. Stroll at your leisure to the night market where you can buy handicrafts.
Day 05
CHIANG RAI - GOLDEN TRIANGLE - CHIANG MAI • (250 KM / 4H)
For voluntary (optional), observing the sunrise ceremony with the Monks. Motor boat cruise on the Kok River to dock in a minority village Karen (mountain tribe). On to the Golden Triangle. Lunch and tasting Som Tam. Road to Chiang Mai. Dinner at the hotel and tasting the national drink: the Maekong. Discovery of the night market in Chiang Mai.
Day 06
CHIANG MAI - DOI SUTHEP - SANKHAMPHAENG - CHIANG MAI • (40 KM / 1H)
Visit Doi Suthep, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the country. Lunch with tasting Kao Soi. Visit the village of Sankhamphaeng to appreciate the diversity of crafts north. Kantoke dinner and dance show minorities. Overnight at hotel.
