Off during the day to Lima. Arriving late in the day. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Housing and night.
Day 03
Nazca - Arequipa • (566 KM / 10H)
You will have the morning free to enjoy the enigmatic Nazca site with its lines in the shape of animals whose mystery remains intact and whose "theories" about their origin ignite imaginations. Out by the Pan American Highway to Arequipa by bus. Evening arrival. Dinner and overnight.
Day 04
Arequipa - JULIACA - Puno • (294 KM / 6H)
In the morning you will visit Arequipa "white." This charming colonial city is considered the capital of Peruvian culture, distinctive architecture is a rare beauty. Arequipa is the best expression of the colonial architecture of the 17th century. Visit the Convent of Santa Catalina "a city within a city", Plaza de Armas, and drive by bus to Puno, Lake Titicaca located at 3850 m altitude. Dinner and overnight.
Day 05
Puno
Departure by boat for an unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca towards the floating islands of Ouros. These islands are made of reeds allowing Aymara Indians to build their floating villages where the peaceful life of their people and their customs have not changed since the dawn of time. Lunch and visit the site of Sillustani Inca and pre-Inca cemetery on a peninsula. Dinner at Puno.
Day 06
Puno - Cusco • (390 KM / APPROX 8H)
Departure by regular bus to Cusco, "the navel of the world"; along the way, five stops are planned: Pukara, La Raya Pass (4318 m). Lunch in Sicuani. You will visit the temple to Viracocha Raqchi old pilgrim center, the Gateway of Inca Rumicolca. Finally arriving in the afternoon to Cusco. Accommodation and dinner.
